Shopping in Orlando: Must go Places to Save Money!

Orlando is a great place to shop. I have been residing in Orlando for 2 to 3 months and I have been researching and going around different places to explore for shopping and fun! There are many factory outlets available where you can find goods at a much cheaper pricing and also a huge variety of products from branded stores. Below are a few of the shopping places in Orlando which I find best.

Honestly, if you know me, I am not a Shopaholic. However, I have found several good deals from Orlando and loved them till today!

1. The Florida Mall

Florida Mall is a place I enjoy spending time in. There are many stores available here ranging from the luxurious high-end stores to the more economically-friendly stores. It is a very lively and buzzing place with lots of people. In addition to that, it has got my favourite outlets: Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Zara, Michael Kors and many others. They also have got a huge M&M Store with large Chocolate tubes for you to Mix & Match those Chocolates. It is a place where kids will love if you have the intention of bringing them to Florida Mall.

Address: 8001 S Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL 32809

Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday 10-9pm

Saturday 10-10pm

Sunday 8-10pm

2. Orlando Premium Outlet (Vineland)

Another place where all shoppers should head to!  There are huge rows of shops available for you with many factory outlet stores available including a Nike outlet and even a Michael Kors Outlet!

On top of these, there are also huge discounts on top of the already discounted prices. I remember purchasing my Michael Kors Wallet from Vineland at an extra 60% off the original discounted outlet price. It was a good deal and bang for the buck!

They have lots of other sales in Vineland too. It depends on the time and season that you go. Just make sure to be on the lookout!

Also, there is an app available on both iOS  and Android which you can download to check out the daily offers and promotions. It is called Simon App. It allows you to track the current promotions that are going on in all Simon Malls which includes Vineland and The Florida Mall. It is a good app to use for all who loves Shopping!

Besides Shopping, Vineland has got a huge food court which sells all types of food which you can choose from. It is very crowded during the weekends as many tourists and locals head there to shop, eat and enjoy.

On a side note, finding a parking space here can be tough as many people shop here. You can try going early or even paying for a valet service fee of $15 to $20! It is much more convenient of course. Just be careful and be quick in finding a parking lot as people can snatch it away from you very quickly.

Address: 8200 Vineland Ave, Orlando, FL 32821

Opening Hours: 10-11pm

3. Lake Buena Vista Shopping Centre

This shopping place is much smaller than the ones mentioned above, but they have got some good deals as well. They have famous brands like Under Armour, GUESS, Levi’s and many other stores.

More information can be found on this website

Address: 15657 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32821

Opening Hours:

Monday to Saturday 10-9pm

Sunday 10-7pm

4. Adidas Outlet at International Drive

This outlet is relatively unknown, but it has cheap and good deals. I go there all the time to purchase Adidas products. They constantly have extra discounts off their already discounted prices. It was definitely worth a buy. I remember a shoe which we wanted to buy that cost about SGD 80 in Singapore, but it was only SGD 55 here. There is a huge price difference. These prices can still be reduced occasionally during the season or if you are lucky!

Address: 5435 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819

Opening Hours:

Monday to Saturday 10-10pm

Sunday 10-8pm

5. Kissimmee Shopping Centre

This Shopping Centre is near Disney World but a little way off downtown Orlando. It is very small and does not have many shops open. However, they have got really good Converse deals here. There are discounted prices for the shoes here, and many people come to this outlet to shop. It is worth the price though there are not many shops available.

Address: 2549 Old Vineland Road Kissimmee FL 34746

Opening hours:

Sunday – Thursday 9-9pm

Friday – Saturday 9-10pm

6. The Mall At Millennium

A shopping place for the higher end goods like Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and many other branded stores. I rarely come here because I did not enjoy the vibe and the feeling in the mall. Yes, it had palm trees and cool designs on the inside, but it just was not the perfect shopping experience that I wanted. The other shopping places above are much better choices for me.

Address: 4200 Conroy Rd, Orlando, FL 32839

Opening Hours:

Monday to Saturday 10-9pm

Sunday 11-7pm

7. Disney Springs

Holy! What can I say about this place! It is one of my favourite places to eat, shop, dine and enjoy. It is so lively and vibrant here with a huge range of shops available for you to enjoy.

In addition to the stores in Vineland and Florida Mall, it also has unique shops such as Melissa Shoes, America threads, Kate Spade and of course Uniqlo. It is the only place which has got Uniqlo in Orlando. I am Asian, and I love Uniqlo products especially their inner wear. It is very comfortable!

There is also a huge Disney World shop where you can buy cute souvenirs, dresses, hats and Disney stuff here. This place makes you feel so different, unique and vibrant. It is full of life and happiness here. It is a must go if you are in Orlando, Florida.

8. Online Shopping

If you are into sales and shopping, I would recommend that you subscribe to your favourite store’s newsletter in the USA.

My sister, Diana, is subscribed to Victoria Secret, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe and many more! Every single time she sees a huge promotion (buy one get one free or even extra 30% off the already discounted sales prices, she would start ordering it.) She advised that it is better to buy from the extra 30% off items as the buy 1 get 1 free items are usually not that nice or worth the price.

For us being foreigners and not living in the states, we typically send our ordered products to a friend who helps us to safe keep our clothes and shipped items. If you do not have this option available, you can always order online and pick it up from the stores nearest to you.

Buying and shopping online saves you time and also money when the promotion is really good! You do not need to worry about buying the wrong clothes and sizes, we have returned the clothes which we disliked and got a full refund back before. Just remember not to remove the tag or throw the full shipping paper or receipt away until you are sure that you want to keep the particular clothing. It was worth it and convenient!

This is all that I have for Shopping in Orlando! It is a fun place to find deals and cheaper goods! Good luck hunting and hopping around!

To your Happiness and Success!
